Privacy Policy

Your data isn’t kept. It’s displayed and discarded.

Here is exactly what happens when you use Libreprobe — and what does not.

Last updated: 24 February 2026
Libreprobe is a stateless, session-only diagnostic tool. Your IP address and connection metadata are read from Cloudflare request headers, displayed to you, and immediately discarded. Nothing is written to a database. No accounts. No tracking. No ads.

What Libreprobe processes

When your browser loads Libreprobe, a Cloudflare Worker reads the following from your request headers and returns them to your browser:

  • Your public IP address
  • Approximate city, region, country, and continent (Cloudflare GeoIP)
  • ISP name and ASN
  • TLS and HTTP protocol versions
  • The Cloudflare edge PoP code and Ray ID serving your request

This data lives in memory for the duration of the API response — typically under 100 ms — and is never written anywhere.

What Libreprobe does not do

  • Libreprobe does not store your IP address or any personal data
  • Libreprobe does not use cookies or analytics scripts
  • Libreprobe does not build profiles or track you across sessions
  • Libreprobe does not sell or share data with third parties for any commercial purpose
  • Libreprobe does not run ads

Infrastructure

Libreprobe runs on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare Workers at the network edge. Requests are processed in-session and not stored by Libreprobe.

Cloudflare may retain standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL, HTTP status) for up to 72 hours for security and operational purposes. These logs are managed by Cloudflare and governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Libreprobe does not have direct access to or control over these logs.

Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) to distinguish legitimate users from automated traffic. It expires within 30 minutes and does not identify you personally.

Your rights

Because Libreprobe retains no personal data, most rights requests — access, erasure, portability — are satisfied by the simple fact that nothing is stored. There is nothing to retrieve, correct, or delete.

If you have a privacy concern or a rights request you would like to make, contact us at privacy@libreprobe.app.

For users in the EEA, UK, or India: the processing described above is necessary to provide the service you requested. If you believe your rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, or India's DPDPDA have been violated, you may contact your local supervisory authority.

Children

Libreprobe is not directed at children under 13. Libreprobe does not knowingly process data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above will be updated and a notice will appear on the homepage. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
